This hunt was in Sept. 2004 in New Mexico
Lincoln National Forest public hunting area.  
The hunter was me (left in the picture) Scott
Scarborough and my cousin Joe Shockley
(right) went along as the cameraman, both of
us from right here in Milford.  The conditions
were terrible, hot and dry.  The bulls were not
very active, bugling or movement.  We
discovered a very active water hole the first
day out and set up on it that evening.  Well
this bull just had to have a drink I guess, he
came walking right in and presented me with
a 45 yard shot.  He grosses 338" and nets
327 1/8" P&Y.
